Megan, you went to law school. And I know how lawyers think: You will indeed get a cell phone to "fulfill" your promise, but you will feel no obligation to actually use it...

I think having them around makes people use them, starting with the times they are useful and then sliding down the slippery slope to discussing with your sweetheart what to order for lunch.
