DisapPOINted! (like Otto in Fish Called Wanda)
I cannot believe I do not like the new Pollination stamps. I should have loved them. But they're a garish mishmash, and I weep for lost opportunity. Pollinators! Stamps! So much potential and it went so wrong.

Hmm. I think I kind of like them, actually. But then, I didn't know they were in the works and had not built up any expectations. I like that the bat was included. I don't tend to think about bats when I think about pollination, and their contribution deserves recognition.
The artwork? Yeah, certainly on the garish side and could probably be better. I like the concept though, so I'm willing to overlook the weirdness of the bees' wings and the loudness of the colors.
I love that the bat was included. But the stamps themselves? That yellow hurts my eyes.
They will look better as individual stamps than as a group. I like that the bee is not a honeybee. I don't see what is wrong with the wings of the bee, though.
I spent about an hour last week looking at bee collections (it was National Pollinator Week, after all), and the wings don't look so different from the bees in the collections. Those bees are dead, of course, which you can tell by the pins through them.

I guess I don't spend enough time scrutinizing bee wings. They just look weird and...too thick? Something.
