My family is inside.
I'm in a sweet little backyard with a pond and succulents and a chiminea. At least two hummingbirds perch, then zoom and hover. Like kittens in the house at four in the morning, they are surprisingly noisy.

How do you make hummingbirds stick around? I like them, but they always take one sweep around my yard and decide to move on. Strange, because the butterflies seem to hang out with no problems.
With a feeder, for one.
