Sorry, guys.

I don't think I can label old posts without publishing them again, and that cues your reader, right? Well, there's 403 old posts, so it'll be a mess for a while. I do want everything organized, at least at the start.

If you live in the area and would like to come over on Tuesday the 13th to participate in a Top Secret Valentine's Day Mission!!!, email me. It'll be a really nice evening of friends and making things.

That's what happened! I was all, like, "Did Megan go crazy last night? 41 posts! When did she sleep?" Then I was thinking "When did Megan stop inviting me to her parties?" OK, I am less sad now. :)
You got your invitation, right, hon?
I don't see what anyone is talking about here? New posts? I see the same stuff posted.
I started labeling my old posts, starting at the beginning, and I think that got the feedreaders all excited. It'll be like that for a while, until I get through them all.
Is this something you're trying to do in anticipation of hopping over to a new blogging platform, or just maintenance?
I got it but as I was reading through some of these older posts I saw stuff about Super bowl parties and new girlfriends and traveling to Hawaii. It made me wonder where I was for all of these supposedly recent events. It seemed that I had read some of it before but I dutifully pressed on. Later, I began to put things together.
Why are you relabeling all your posts?
Cause blogger made me switch, so I want to use the internal labels, and I don't like my current categorization anyway.
I got about 20 at once...but I don't remember reading all of them before, so I think of it as a plus.
For a moment, though, I thought you had gone nuts with the blogging!
That was back when I was funny, before I got the unfortunate impression that people cared what I think about technical things. It'll all go downhill in about May, when I start blogging about irrigation and no one stops me.
Eh, no big deal. This time, I just marked them all as "read" after getting the first one, and then went to your page the regular way to read the two new ones.
But how could you do this without having a public meeting about it first?
When you get down to it, it's an interesting idea that a site named "From The Archives" would re-post topics from a year ago. You could post something today regarding what you're currently thinking about, stuff in the news, or respond to comments from other posts, then link or re-post something from a year ago to contrast the writing style, types of comments, and generally show how much the blog has changed in the last year.
And if this wasn't your idea, now it's mine, so don't even think about stealing the idea I stole from you.

Yeah, but that would be retrospection and more self-absorption than even I can bear. Y'all know where my old posts are, if you want to read them.
And now that you've back-dated this post, it's unlikely anyone will see this comment and my theft of your mistake will be complete.
It's too bad I don't own a domain name like "From The Archives" such that the theme would actually make sense.
Plus, I would have to spend a whole year building up content just to have enough to make the concept work.
