This made me purely happy.

I confess that my ex and I had a dance routine that we did to this song. It wasn't skanky or anything, just a little something to make parties better. Nothing like this:

Hardstyle, I'd say, although they're both impressive.

That guy's body looks weird. Maybe it's bad resolution on the movie, but he looks like he's wearing a flesh-colored sweater stuffed strategically with gym socks. Is it supposed to be his real body?

Oh, and P.S., it made me feel weird. And it reminded me of the experience where I watched the Simpsons where Homer Simpson got plastic surgery to stuff his upper body with old gym socks.

Yeah, dude is wearing some kind of suit to give him the buff. It is rather odd.

Shuffle is wicked. Found this tutorial:

Anyone know a better site? The jump style is like what we do in break(danc)ing. The floor stuff (down-rock) in breaking is brilliant, but I've always thought the "top-rock" was a bit lame compared to popping and locking, and other dance styles. I might try and learn some shuffle moves and mix them in. Sweet.

Both styles from the second video look fun, and the shuffle has the added virtue of explaining and justifying the fashion for pants which reach the floor with the old school shuffle segment.

My mixer died recently. When I lowered it into the bowl to begin creaming, it groaned fitfully, showered sparks, and let out a faint plume of acrid smoke.

Perhaps I asked too much of my mixer; it was only the fifth batch of cookies I'd made with it, but the batches were not small. Oh, for a stand mixer! Oh, for a counter upon which to put a stand mixer!

The cookies came out fine, and handmixing just means that they are that much more handmade.

I would like to have breakfast at home today; I feel unprepared when I've forgotten to defrost the bagels. That being said, the breakfast burritos at 7-11 are pretty good.

Tom Jones' interview with Terri Gross is pretty good -- he explains his attitude towards that song. It's funny. -K.

That's my favorite Tom Jones song. And I was super-impressed by the sauciness of that ice skater...

Throwing my panties at Tom Jones is still not crossed off of my 100 Things to Do Before I Die list.

Plushenko (2006 Olympic champion) is wearing a muscle suit just for laughs.
