Need details.
Hey y'all. I think I have a schedule, so now we need locations.
Tuesday June 3rd - Boston meet-up; Cambridge Commons first to play catch. I'll bring a disc and HK will too. Food afterwards somewhere.
Sunday June 8th - Amhearst to see Capella and Northampton to stay with Asymptote Beagle. It isn't clear to me why you don't pronounce the "h" in Amhearst, but you do in Northampton. But that's what my Dad tells me.
Monday June 9th and Tuesday the 10th - New York city.
Monday 9th: Joint blog meet-up with the NY Unfogged crew. After work at Fresh Salt.
Tuesday 10th: I have lunch plans, but would love to meet you for tea time or showing me neat things during the day.
Wednesday June 11th and Thursday June 12th - Philadelphia to meet eDubin!'s handsome son and also you.
Friday June 13th and Sat June 14th - DC. I know imaginary people in DC but don't have plans yet. That is probably because three weeks out is like the next millenium or something. Plan things three weeks in advance. Hah. That's crazytalk.
Anyway, Boston is a week from today. Where shall we meet?

Amherst, not Amhearst! (And you can pronounce the 'h', don't let those Massholes push you around.)
The "h" in Amherst was needed for the Bostonians who needed to pronounce "Hahvahd."

Will you be in Boston proper? Cambridge? Somerville? A farther-out, less-transit-accessible suburb? There are all sorts of possibilities, but the neighborhood matters.
I'll be coming from Duxbury, and continuing north after that. So I could go to wherever y'all tell me to in Boston. Pick somewhere easily accessible for other people?
Since my own "plans" changed, I don't think I'll be in New York or DC when you are. But I should be in the Bay Area within a month or two.
You're dodging me, eb. I can tell.
But I'm sweetly relentless and I never forget anything. We'll eat burritos together yet.
Good call on coming home. It is better here.

How about Harvard Sq? We could throw the disc around at either Cambridge Common or along the river and then grab food/drinks
From Amherst, take Route 9 through Northampton. On the far side of Cummington, keep going on Route 9 3.2 miles past the turn-off to Route 112 South. Turn right onto Packard St. If you get to West Cummington you've gone 1/4 mile too far. Packard St becomes Prospect St and we're at 252 Prospect.
You're welcome to stay at my place when you're in DC. 13th and 14th are vacant guest room slots. Central location, easy metro. I also suggest biking a big circle around the city if you have the time, it's a great way to see it.
I've put up a post at Unfogged for a meetup June 9; any New York readers here who don't also read Unfogged should please show up to hang out.
What time for the Fresh Salt meetup on the 9th? I'd certainly be glad to make it.
Harvard Square sounds good; both the cambridge common for disc and possibly the Cambridge Common restaurant for food and drinks afterwards. Good local pub food, veggie-friendly.
Peter, I don't know what time. I don't have work, so I could get there whenever. After work? Is that 6ish?
Nathan and HK. Two votes for Harvard Square seems like enough for me. Harvard Square after work. 6ish? I really don't know. Look for an up-disc.
Cambridge Common food is not good.
If Cambridge Common food isn't good, where else should we eat?
6ish @ cambridge common sounds good. For food there are a few good places hear Hvd Sq - John Harvard's Brew Pub , Grendel's Den etc.
Cambridge Common food used to be quite good but it's been spotty lately.
Grendel's is great. Can be a little tight for larger parties though. John Harvard's has heartier fare and more space. Both are in basements. For above-ground eating, Charlie's Kitchen is good but greasy; for healthy/vegan, there's Z-Square.
Dali, a tapas restaurant a few blocks' walk to the northeast, is terrific and has a lot of personality, if that's a consideration.
Ok, Bostonians -
Meg called me to say that the plan for 'Cambridge Commons' is on for 6:00 today. Unfortunately, from these comments, I'm not sure if that means meeting at the park or at the restaurant.
HK, Nathan - either of you wanna clarify?
-Anand
P.S. Yes, I am real.
Its for the park - 1500 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA. We should be there for an hr or so. So if you are planning on meeting Megam look for us at the park between 6:00 - 7:15. We can then figure out what we are doing for food.

Hey! I'm more of a lurker on your blog, but I'm sane and friendly. I'm coming home from a trip on Thursday the 12th, so if you're still in Philly that evening, I'd love to join a get-together or come up with a get-together plan. Also, I'd have to check with my roommate, but you could probably crash on our couch that night if you wanted.

We tried to meet up last time you were in Philly, but I had to run off to a conference. I'd love to meet up with you on the 11th or 12th this time around. If you can bear to cross the river into Joisey - Chuck Prophet is playing a free concert in a cool little outdoor amphitheatre on the 11th that would be fun. Hope to finally meet you in person!
