Crossed with Zodiac animal, of course.

It used to be that I immediately put everyone I met into one of eight weight classes. Now my classification is much simpler. There are people I could benchpress, people I can't benchpress but could deadlift and people I can't deadlift. Yet.

Soon it'll be "how many of these people could I lift?"

Apropos of nothing, I hit a deadlift PR just the other day, just 5kg over 2XBW. It was ugly so I didn't go any higher, though I felt I could pull more. Also hit a squat PR on Friday. Go me.

Many prisons have banned weights. But inmates are quite resourceful, and one thing they often do is bench press other inmates.

Cool! One thing I've heard is that when people hit 2X bodyweight deadlifts their numbers on other lifts shoot right up, even ones seemingly unrelated to deadlifts.

Little kids? Little kids? I can curl my wife; thank you very much.

That's a two handed curl of course. As far as single handed curls, I was able to lift a 6 year old, while she was doing chinups to my hand. We both enjoyed it a lot, but the waiter told us to sit down and stop annoying the other guests...

Not that I use curls in my classification of other people. It is strictly one-handed-snatches, two-handed-snatches, and fireman-lifts.
